AT&T Expands U-Verse TV Service Brings Competition To Comcast, Others
Washington (dbTechno) - AT&T has announced that they have expanded their U-Verse TV service to Michigan and abroad. The U-Verse TV service is expected to bring some serious competition to the likes of Comcast and other cable, satellite TV providers.AT&T has begun the task of offering television, Internet, as well as telephone services through their U-Verse packages.
Customers who sign up for U-Verse will get 200 channels, as well as a DVR, Internet service, unlimited calling, and more for around $120 a month.
They will be competing with the likes of Comcast and others for customers in many locations.
The U-Verse system is unique as it is linked up to the Internet. This means that customers have the ability to use their computers of cell phones to program the DVR to record programs, even when they are miles away from their television.
Unlike basic analog cable though, U-Verse requires every TV to have a box attached.
