Alexi Murdoch plays free show at Atomic

When indie folkster Alexi Murdoch decided to finally complete his two-years-in-the-making debut album, “Time Without Consequence,” and release it to his patiently awaiting fans back in June, he made a very good decision.
When he decided to then embark on a tour de soft force across the United States, playing his dreamy, melodic hymns in only small venues and independent records stores, he made an even better one.
Luckily for us, he has chosen Milwaukee’s own Atomic Records as his only Wisconsin stop, playing a free show at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 14.
The beauty of an Atomic Records in-store performance is that, by default, it is always an intimate experience, and with Murdoch perched comfortably in the storefront window with nothing more than his acoustic guitar and Scottish accent, it’ll be as cozy as if he were playing right in your living room.
