Linux on your Windows handheld, eh?

Linux on your Windows handheld

It’s not like Linux phones are all that super rare anymore that you have to fly to China just to catch a glimpse. In fact, pretty much everyone’s either got one or is working to produce a Linux-based phone, and within a few years Linuxphones will surely be a force to be reckoned with. But we still down with turning Windows Mobile on its head and dumping it right out of that HTC in favor of the penguin; it’s a long time in coming, but apparently after years of work, developers with the Xanadux project (no Olivia Newton John jokes, ok?) have actually got Linux functioning on an HTC Blue Angel (aka XV6600, etc.) to the extent of making and receiving phone calls. Someone call up LiPS, sounds like we’ve got some collaborating to do.
